Curriculum Approach
In our Mathematics programme, we go beyond helping students complete tasks, we develop learners who think, reason, and take ownership of their learning.
While students learn methods and formulas, we place strong emphasis on helping them plan and think through their solutions. Students are guided to:
Plan their approach before solving
Select appropriate strategies and representations
Explore multiple ways to solve a problem
Explain and justify their thinking
Adapt their approach when faced with challenges

Learning becomes an active process. They are making decisions, testing ideas, and reflecting on their thinking.
To support this, our teachers intentionally design lessons that include:
Purposeful questioning to deepen thinking
Opportunities for discussion and collaboration
Tasks set in meaningful and varied contexts
Guided facilitation, where teachers support rather than provide immediate answers
Through a balance of clear instruction and skilled facilitation, we build both conceptual understanding and learner independence.
Differentiated Support and Stretch
Lessons are designed to meet diverse learning needs. Teachers provide scaffolds for students who require additional support, while offering more complex and open-ended tasks to stretch others. This ensures that every student builds strong foundations and is appropriately challenged.

Experiential Learning
Student-centred and engaging learning experiences are integral to our Mathematics curriculum. Students explore authentic problem-solving situations and work collaboratively to make sense of concepts. With teacher guidance, they challenge assumptions, make connections, and see the relevance of Mathematics in real-life contexts, deepening both understanding and application.

Excellence 2000 Programme (E2K Maths)

Technology in Learning: Powering Up Mathematics Learning with Technology!
Digital tools are purposefully integrated to enhance learning. Platforms such as the Student Learning Space (SLS) provide interactive tasks, timely feedback, and opportunities for self-paced learning. ICT supports visualisation, practice, and reflection, helping students become more independent and engaged learners.
